New 2025 Genesis X: Everything We Know So Far

Genesis Motors has recently trademarked the name “X Speedium Coupe/Convertible” in Australia. This new 2025 model is based on the Genesis X concept, led by Luke Donkerwolk. This served as the design foundation for upcoming Genesis models. The Genesis X Speedium was unveiled at the Genesis House in New York, a cultural venue located in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

The X Concept line includes a high-performance GT coupe, the X Speedium, as well as a convertible that the company will release later this year. Here’s all the information you need to know about the 2025 Genesis X Convertible Concept, including its price, release date, design, interior, engine, and full specs.

2025 Genesis X First Look

Genesis has established a reputation for producing luxurious and visually appealing cars. As a luxury subsidiary of Hyundai, Genesis competes with other high-end brands such as Lexus and Acura. The automaker has incorporated a blend of traditional and modern design elements into its vehicles.

The exterior of the cars boasts an elegant crane white color with white and pearl particles, while the interior looks lavish with contrasting features. In addition, the 2025 Genesis X Convertible Concept offers a stunning interior design inspired by the navy.

New Design

The brand aims to create cars that are easy to drive by using top-quality interior components and designing sporty cockpits. Genesis is creating exciting concept cars that we can only hope will be produced for the market.

Interior of 2025 Genesis X

The interior of the X Convertible Concept draws inspiration from the Dancheng Orange, which is a color taken from old Korean wooden buildings. The accent color used in the interior is inspired by the late Joseon Dynasty. If you are a fan of convertibles from Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, you will surely appreciate the X Convertible Concept.

Genesis X with Immersive Driving Experience

A particular brand of cars that initially catered to businessmen has created a stunning example of elegance with the X Convertible. This electric convertible is designed to provide a sedan-like experience while also offering the joys of a convertible with its top-down four-door roof design.

The interior of the car features a high-powered sound system that has been designed by a South Korean sound engineer. To ensure the driver feels fully immersed while driving, the interior of the car has been designed in such a way that the driver feels a strong connection with the car.

Genesis X Powertrain

The automaker has not yet disclosed the range, motor count, or battery size of their new model. However, based on our expectations, the X Coupe/Convertible models will feature a tri-motor with a single front-engine front-wheel drive (FF) and dual front-engine rear-wheel drive (FR), along with a high-capacity battery of around 100 kWh. We were also informed that the model may come with a two-speed transmission, similar to the Porsche Taycan.

Performance of Genesis X

Based on this configuration, we can anticipate an output of approximately 800 horsepower or more, generated by a high-powered motor with a rev range of over 20,000 rpm. This potent electric motor can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds and is intended to reach a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
